I recently presented at the BOMA Boston Green Real Estate Summit with my Jones Lang LaSalle colleague Matt Giffune (twitter: @mattgiffune). Our presentation covered the intricacies of Green Leasing and what it can potentially mean to tenants, building owners and property managers.
Of utmost importance to our discussion was the question: How do you draft a lease that motivates both tenant and landlord to engage in sustainable building operating practices? We had a very interested and actively involved audience from many different backgrounds. Since this topic seemed to interest many people from different sides of the industry, I thought we’d share the slides here. Please feel free to comment or ask questions if anything comes up after you take a look.
