Young workers are choosing transit oriented communities over suburban sprawl. Live, work and play is the mantra in our market.

Cutting edge employment sectors like life sciences and biotech are attracting top talent to urban settings. A prime example of this is Biogen’s attempt to relocate their headquarters to Weston, where they had built one of the highest quality office spaces in all of Greater Boston. At the end of the day they chose to abandon the move in favor of remaining close to MIT.

The life science and biotechnology sectors are driven by innovation. They rely heavily on an interplay between business and universities.They consistenly choose to locate near one another.

To attract top talent and keep their competitive edge, businesses must maintain a razor sharp focus on amenities, accessibility and a sense of community.
