The JLL Industrial team of Rick Schuhwerk, Tony Coskren and Brian Pinch won a CBA 2013 Achievement Award Deal of the Year for its sale of 15 Industrial Drive to O’Reilly Auto Parts. One of the country’s top auto parts suppliers, O’Reilly bought the 375,000 s.f. warehouse and distribution facility in Devens Industrial Park from Hackman Capital Partners for $20,700,000.
This was one of three transactions totaling 605,545 s.f. that JLL completed at Devens in a three month span. The purchase, which followed a lease buy-out with Kraft Foods, begins O’Reilly’s expansion program in Greater Boston. This gives them the highly functional industrial space, flexibility and easy connections to the region’s major highways and cities.
O’Reilly Vice President Scott Kraus is looking forward to growing in New England. “The Devens location strategically positions us for the future,” he said.
Rick and team also completed leases at 235 Barnum Road and 50 Independence Drive at Devens recently. Quiet Logistics leased all of 235 Barnum, and WNA signed for 51,000 s.f. at 50 Independence Drive.
“The Devens complex is attracting a concentration of local and national warehouse, distribution and manufacturing users,” Rick noted.
