Next week JLL is looking forward to attending and participating in the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) Annual Meeting in Nashville, TN. NACUBO is known throughout the higher education community as a leading organization that supports its members through advocacy efforts, community service and professional development activities. The theme for this year’s meeting is “The Tempo of Change,” which promises to address the reality of today’s higher education environment: New models of success require nimble, knowledgeable teams paired with the right resources.

JLL is excited about this year’s NACUBO theme as it directly aligns with our tempo of change as we focus our service lines to the immediate pressures within the higher education industry. Today, institutions of higher learning are experiencing the demands from local and state officials to develop more student housing, the backlogs of deferred maintenance and rising operations costs, decreased enrollments and endowments, student and faculty demands for innovation and state-of-the-art facilities and the lack of financial resource – just to name a few. Our team understand this specialized industry is shifting and pressures are soaring; our goal is to support our clients’ real estate needs and goals of growth, sustainability and success. From our expertise in P3 developments, a world-class staff of leasing and transaction professionals, to the dedicated project development and construction management service teams, we are partnering with colleges and universities to help them reach their fullest potential as leaders in academia.

Commitment and collaboration are the backbone of our company and we’re looking forward to sharing how these values have led to recent successes across the U.S. for our higher education clients. For those attending NACUBO‘s annual meeting, JLL will be represented by practice leaders from the Higher Education, Public Institutions and Project Development Service lines. Please don’t hesitate to contact me and visit us at The Expo, booth # 859, in the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center.
