JLL Managing Director Jessica Hughes has been named to the Boston Business Journal’s prestigious 40 Under 40 list. Jessica is an industry leader and prolific dealmaker with more than 18 years of experience. Since joining JLL in 2012, she has advised on over $1.3 billion of real estate transactions. Some of her notable recent deals include: the sales of 745 Atlantic which was one of Boston’s largest this year, the 45 acre land sale of Northpoint in Cambridge, and 670 Albany Street in Boston University’s BioSquare.
According to JLL Managing Director Frank Petz: “Jessica has a vast amount of experience both here in the greater Boston region and throughout the European investment community. She also has the unique ability to view today’s complex investments from a principal’s point of view. Her well-respected investment career and strong industry relationships have been invaluable to our Capital Markets presence in New England.”
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jessica was also recognized for her civic involvement. On top of taking part in industry-based organizations like the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and New England Women in Real Estate (NEWiRE), she also serves on the board of the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA), as she considers herself an art and design buff.
Jessica will be recognized along with the other honorees on October 1st.
