On Thursday, November 19th, BOMA Boston hosted its annual TOBY award ceremony at the Westin Copley. The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) awards are the most prestigious and comprehensive awards of their kind in commercial real estate. All facets of buildings operations are evaluated as part of the judging process – from site management, tenant relations and amenities provided to community involvement, energy savings and sustainable processes and procedures. The awards essentially recognize the “best of the best” in commercial property management.
We are thrilled to announce that the following JLL managed properties won in the following categories:
Westborough Executive Park – Managed by Paulette Nicoliello and Andrew Katz and owned by Albany Road Real Estate Partners. This asset won the TOBY award in the Suburban Low-Rise category.
Rowes Wharf – Managed by Joe Alfonso, Mark Chiarelli, Aly Chadbourne, Mike Curran, Tulsie Jodhan and Jimmy Pisco and owned by Morgan Stanley. This asset won the TOBY award in the 250,000 – 499,000 Square Feet category.
99 High Street – Managed by Bruce Clifford, Leslie Zella and Steve Tessier and owned by TIAA-CREF. This asset won the TOBY award in the 500,000 to 1 Million Square Feet category.
One Financial Center – Managed by Seth Skolnick, Rob Albert, Karen Rodriguez, Marina Bailey, Hannah Searle and Pat Zarro and owned by MetLife. This asset won the TOBY award in the over 1 Million Square Feet category.
“We are extremely proud of all of our TOBY winners” said Brian Barriero, JLL’s Regional Director for Property Management in New England. “The recognition these folks receive from the TOBY Award encapsulates the hard work they put forth every single day throughout the entire year. It takes tremendous leadership and a true team effort to operate a property at the level required to receive such a prestigious designation. In addition, it demonstrates JLL’s commitment to excellence in all that we do.”
