Every year, JLL team members volunteer several hours of their time to give back to the local community. Many of those company-sponsored events are coordinated in conjunction with Building Impact. If you’re not familiar with the organization, their mission is to strengthen communities by providing individuals and companies with the knowledge and opportunity to volunteer, donate, and connect in the buildings and communities where they work or live.

Just last year, in partnership with Building Impact, JLL helped generate over $1 million in volunteer time and product donations for organizations including Room to Grow, Franklin Park Coalition, and Boston Children’s Hospital.

This Wednesday, April 27th, the organization will honor Boston’s most socially responsible corporations, including The Bulfinch Companies, at their 4th annual Building Impact NonGala event. JLL will also be among those companies honored as we receive our second consecutive Impact Award.

In addition to a formal ceremony and networking, the NonGala uniquely offers on site micro-volunteering during which attendees will have the opportunity to volunteer while simultaneously learning about various local nonprofits that are beneficiaries of Building Impact’s programming.

If you’re not already, I encourage you to get involved with Building Impact by purchasing tickets to attend the NonGala or finding out more about how you can get involved. It truly is a wonderful organization with a direct connection to the real estate business that is having a tremendous impact on the Greater Boston community.
