2016 was yet another memorable year for us at JLL. Last week, our team gathered together at the Federal Reserve Building to celebrate some of our greatest achievements over the past twelve months. From our service lines to our support teams we shared several new innovations and success stories.
Our Property Management team had a unique opportunity in 2016 to partner with our client Hasbro to make an impact in the Rhode Island community where they work and do business. JLL partnered with Hasbro’s Global Philanthropy team to complete six school improvement projects including the Curvin-Mccabe School and Flora S. Curtis Elementary School in Pawtucket, RI and City Year in Providence. Our shared values and mutual desire to give back made this a natural fit and we’re so glad we could have such a positive impact on the community.
Meanwhile, our PDS team worked on a one-of-kind project to enhance the living environment for retreatants at the Eastern Point Retreat House, a 40-acre property in Gloucester, MA. The project included the demolition of an existing 9,000 SF, two-story residential wing and the construction of a new 19,000 SF, three-story wing, as well as extensive renovations to the original 1950’s mansion. The revitalized spiritual center re-opened to eager retreatants in October 2016.
These were just a few of 2016’s big successes as we look ahead to yet another exciting year in 2017. Check out some photos from a memorable evening:
